New Agreement at Norse Dairy (4/20/07)

RWDSU Local 379 members in Columbus, OH, approved a new three-year
agreement that protects health care at no added cost, raises wages and
contributions to the retirement plan by the company, and improves
contract language and benefits.
Workers also received an extra week of vacation after eight years of service.
The members at the plant manufacture dairy packaging and filling
equipment and the equipment used to make Drumstick ice cream products
and other ice cream novelties.
