RWDSU Endorses Freddy Ferrer for NYC Mayor (9/22/05)

The RWDSU announced today that the union has endorsed Freddy Ferrer for Mayor of New York City, citing Ferrer's longtime support of working families.
“We share Freddy Ferrer’s vision for New York – a vision of decent jobs, with good wages, where workers are treated with dignity and respect, where they can build better lives for themselves and their families," said RWDSU President Stuart Appelbaum.
"I am proud to stand with the men and women of the RWDSU," Ferrer said at the City Hall press conference. "The members of the RWSDU know the value of hard work and they know how important it is to have a mayor who will stand up for our traditional Democratic values and fight everyday to improve the lives of working men and women in this city."
