NYCOA Contract Protects Health Care (7/23/07)

RWDSU Local 60 members in Manchester, New Hampshire, have ratified a new agreement with their employer, NYCOA. The contract contains wage gains and other improvements, but most importantly protects the members' health care. Under the agreement, there will be no change in the medical and dental premiums.

"The company came at us hard, trying to whittle away at everything," said RWDSU New England Joint Board President Brian Sabourin. "Local 60 members stood their ground and came out with a fair contract."
