RWDSU Establishes Iowa Flood Relief Fund

The RWDSU has established an Iowa Flood Relief Fund in response to the
devastation caused by last week’s floods in Iowa. One of the areas hardest hit
was Cedar Rapids where members of RWDSU Local 110 live and work at the Quaker Oats plant. While the damage is still being assessed we know that members have lost their homes and the plant and union office have been closed down due to the flood. We do not know when the plant will reopen and members will be able to return to work.

The RWDSU Iowa Flood Relief Fund will help members and their families deal with the problems caused by this tragedy. All assistance is appreciated to help these working brothers and sisters in their time of need. Checks should be made out to “RWDSU Iowa Flood Relief Fund” and sent to:
