At the final session of the RWDSU 21st Quadrennial Convention this morning, RWDSU President Stuart Appelbaum, Secretary-Treasurer Jack Wurm, and Recorder Amelia Tucker were re-elected to new four-year terms.

New York State Attorney General and New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo (above) addressed the convention.

Chinese labor activist Han Dongfang (above) told delegates about the latest efforts by Chinese workers to form unions, and improve their often harsh and oppressive working conditions. The RWDSU Convention passed a resolution supporting the Chinese workers' fight following Dongfang's address, and passed another resolution condemning Free Trade agreements that are driving down workers' standards and working conditions world wide.
