Study Sheds Light on Economic "Lost Decade" (9/19/11)

The Economic Policy Institute has released a compelling new study called “A Lost Decade: Income and Poverty Trends Bleak for Working Families.” By analyzing Census Bureau data on income, poverty, and health insurance coverage the study paints a disturbing picture on a working class that rapidly lost ground over the course of the last decade.

The study shows rising poverty rates, falling income, and a growing number of uninsured Americans. At the same time, the wealth disparity between the super rich and everyone else continues to balloon.
